I Campi di volontariato
Migliaia di volontarie e volontari provenienti da diverse regioni d'Italia e del mondo scelgono ogni anno di fare un' esperienza di lavoro, di volontariato e di formazione civile prendendo parte ai campi di lavoro sui terreni confiscati alle mafie e gestiti dalle cooperative sociali di Libera Terra. Segno concreto di una volontà, sempre più diffusa tra i giovani, di voler essere in prima linea e di voler tradurre questo loro impegno in un'azione concreta di solidarietà e di condivisione.
I campi rappresentano un'esperienza estiva che sempre più spesso è solo l'inizio o è già parte di un percorso più ampio che i giovani intraprendono nel cammino della legalità, della consapevolezza e dell'impegno nella lotta alle mafie. I campi vengono suddivisi in diversi momenti: di mattina le attività lavorative per il recupero dei beni confiscati e della loro produttività. Accanto al lavoro manuale vengono organizzati dei momenti di formazione e informazione sui temi della legalità, dell'uso sociale dei beni confiscati, delle mafie. La sera infine diventa momento di incontro e confronto tra i volontari e tra i volontari e le comunità locali attraverso iniziative di animazione territoriale e socialità. Essere presenti sottolinea con forza l'attenzione di quanti, sempre più, credono nello sviluppo del sistema della gestione de beni confiscati come risorsa per lo sviluppo economico, sociale e culturale del territorio.
